Description:
The plans were developed in multiple stage according to the sketches of architects of Kós Károly Egyesülés (Imre Makovecz, Attila Turia, László Zsigmond…) with very short deadlines. The goal was to recreate a healthy lifespace as part of the existing town structurefor those who suffered a great loss of savings of a life, subsistence, even hope in the catastophy of the red mud effluence. The traditional streetview, mass and vernacular details of the area were the used in planning to save local cultural heritage. I was the composer of the tender, permission and working plans based on idea of Imre Makovecz, Tibor Bata and Ágnes Zsigmond and I was present at construction as a site supervisor. Later our team organised an international conference on the experiences on post-catastrophy redesign.
